Today is National Indigenous Veteran’s Day. You will have noticed that our flags are being flown at half mast to recognize and honour the First Nations, Inuit and Métis of Canada who have a long and proud tradition of military service to our country.

POPPIES - All students will receive a poppy in homeroom on Thursday this week.  Everyone is invited to bring a donation if you are able to - your homeroom teacher has a poppy donation can in your classroom.

A reminder to all students who are performing at the Remembrance Day assembly on Thursday that we have a rehearsal tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) in block 3 in the gym. This includes tech crew, cadets, MCs, dancers, choir, band and those grade 8s doing readings. 

Finally, a reminder about the snow. You can certainly play in it but there is no throwing of snow or snow balls at school.
